Gold lapel pin with a Huguenot cross. The lapel pin is worn on the lapel of a jacket. It is a beautiful antique piece of jewelry that can certainly be worn again today. The Huguenot cross was often worn by Protestants in the past. This was a great success in 1688 because Protestants could then also wear a cross that they considered different from the Catholic cross. To this day, the origin of the cross is still uncertain. There are suspicions about its maker, but the real person has never been discovered. The pin is made of 14-karat yellow gold (585/1000).
