Description
Antique/vintage necklace made of a single long strand of dark red glass beads. The beads, approximately 5.0 mm in diameter, are faceted and strung on a cord, with a knot placed between each bead. The decorative clasp is crafted from 14-karat yellow gold (585/1000). The chain is very long; formerly known as a sautoir. These long necklaces were designed to emphasize the woman's hips (through the sparkle and clink of the beads). The necklace can also be folded in half once or twice.
