Gold brooch/pendant with a bonnet bell. The pendant features an S-shaped pattern and is decorated with Zeeland knots throughout. The bonnet bell is a unique piece of jewelry from the Dutch traditional costume period around 1900. The original bonnet bell was attached to a bonnet under the head, which was worn on Sundays with Sunday clothes. Nowadays, almost no one wears such a bonnet anymore, but the bonnet bell is a beautifully detailed piece of jewelry. A traditional and antique piece of jewelry made of 14-karat yellow gold (585/1000).
