Top vintage in exceptionally good condition! This Heuer Autavia 1163 automatic chronograph. Autavia stands for "Auto & Aviation." A top collector's item for vintage enthusiasts. This vintage chronograph was primarily used for auto racing and aviation purposes at the time, and purely as a precise timekeeping instrument, hence its name, Autavia. A rare vintage piece in uniquely beautiful condition. Heuer is the well-known predecessor of the modern TAG Heuer. It became famous for legendary models from the 1960s and 1970s like the Carrera and Autavia (auto & aviation). Heuer is now much more highly regarded than the more modern TAG Heuer, and for good reason. What a history, what details, and what progressive movements! This is a fantastic example in beautiful, unpolished, and sharp condition with the original sunburst finish, as it was originally delivered. This watch has a beautiful black dial with sporty red details. The case and bezel are so sharp. The dial and hands are in truly beautiful and sharp condition, we rarely see them in such good condition! You have to see it with your own eyes to be absolutely convinced... This is almost bizarre after over 50 years, and we have tried to capture it as accurately as possible in the photos. This watch is internally fitted with the special Heuer Swiss Made Cal. 11 Automatic (micro-rotor) movement, which runs smoothly and accurately with values ​​that are not out of place in modern timepieces. The original Heuer 'Beads of Rice' steel bracelet is also in top condition, never seen better! The bracelet has no stretch, is sharp, and with all its links, fits large wrists (over 20cm). These separate bracelets are already sold for around €2000, so that certainly adds significant value to this watch. This watch comes in an original Heuer vintage box with an extra (original) crystal, extra links for the bracelet, and includes our in-house warranty report and a 1-year warranty.
