This Heuer ‘Pre-Carrera’ Big-Eye Chronograph from around 1946 is a stunning example. A historic watch from the early years of Heuer, featuring a timeless look and unique provenance.

This piece, reference number 333 ATC and is directly sourced from a German collector. The classic chronograph layout, beautiful vintage details, and authentic character make this watch a remarkable collectible for enthusiasts of early Heuer chronographs.

What truly makes this piece exceptional is the full overhaul performed by TAG Heuer in 2019. An official factory service for vintage watches from this period is exceedingly rare. The complete overhaul is fully documented and is provided with all associated papers and the original invoice amounting to €2,178. This not only offers extra reassurance but reinforces the quality and authenticity of this remarkable timepiece.

Inside is the high-quality Valjoux Cal. 22 manual winding chronograph movement, which functions excellently thanks to the thorough revision. The movement runs accurately and is in very good condition.

The original TAG Heuer croco leather strap with folding clasp fits perfectly with the character of the watch and is, like the whole timepiece, in very good (almost new) condition. The strap is suitable for wrists up to approximately 20cm. Here too, no costs were spared.
