The IWC Ingenieur (Ref. IW3234-01) is a unique and rarely seen model from the technical Ingenieur line of IWC Schaffhausen. This reference was produced for only one year (2007–2008) and is considered by connoisseurs as a true 'forgotten reference'. Loved for its unique design and high-quality finish and material use.

With a case diameter of 44mm, this watch has a powerful appearance, but thanks to the absence of traditional 'lugs', it wears remarkably compact and comfortably on the wrist. This makes it a technically interesting design that stands out from other sports watches in this segment. The black bezel is made from scratch-resistant ceramic and the dial is a true work of art with a kevlar-like structure and many details.

The Ingenieur series has originally been known for its anti-magnetic properties and technical character, and this model is no exception, being IWC's counterpart to the Rolex Milgauss.

Inside, it houses the impressive IWC Caliber 80111 manufacture movement. This automatic caliber is known for its robustness, shock resistance, and precision, partly due to the innovative Pellaton winding system.

The original IWC leather/nylon strap is in very good condition, just like the watch itself, and fits comfortably wrists up to approximately 20 cm.

This example from 2008 is in very good and unpolished condition, meaning the original case finish has been fully preserved, an important detail for collectors.
