Beautiful and meanwhile vintage IWC Pilot TZC watch. An IWC classic with beautiful details and a high-quality finish. With 40mm it is very comfortable to wear and a watch for almost any occasion. The IWC Pilot's Watch IW3251, also known as the Mark XII, is an iconic watch from the famous IWC Pilot's Watch collection. This model, introduced in the 1990s, is a direct successor to the legendary Mark 11 model, which IWC produced from 1948 for the British Royal Air Force. The IWC Mark XII IW3251 combines the classic features of a pilot's watch with modern Swiss technology, and is loved by collectors and watch enthusiasts for its timeless design, high quality and ultimate precision. This model features an understated matt black dial, beautifully finished and typically IWC and actually the right choice for a classic flieger like this. The characteristic IWC crown is beautifully signed. The sapphire crystal has a double anti-reflective coating, as only IWC can achieve, making the dial so sharp and detailed that, despite its understated character, it's still a real eye-catcher. Back to the crystal: we see a scratch around 9 o'clock and between 1 and 2 o'clock. Not a major issue, but worth mentioning and a reason we're keeping the price competitive. The original and beautiful IWC 'beads of rice' bracelet is a true work of art. The documentation/invoice proves that this bracelet was purchased separately in 2001 for a whopping DM2350 (which is indeed what these bracelets cost). This bracelet is beautifully finished and wears wonderfully. This high-quality bracelet features the IWC-signed folding clasp. The bracelet fits wrists up to approximately 19 cm, and we can, of course, resize/deliver it. Inside, we see a Swiss-made automatic movement, IWC Cal. 30710 in a Chronometer version. The watch is in very good and well-maintained condition, both internally and externally. The movement demonstrably underwent a full IWC overhaul in 2021 (a service invoice is included) and runs like new! We measure amplitude of 308 degrees and an accuracy of approximately +5 sec./24, which is simply perfect. This watch comes with a beautiful and comprehensive full set: IWC box, outer box, IWC warranty card, IWC booklet, IWC cloth, invoice/documentation from 2001, invoice from IWC full service in 2021, and an in-house warranty report with a 1-year warranty. A top-notch full set, a top-notch watch!
