The IWC Vintage Collection ‘Pilot’s Watch 1936’ is a tribute to one of the first pilot watches produced by IWC in the 1930s. With this model, IWC has brought back the characteristic design of the original watch, combined with modern Swiss technology and the comfort of a contemporary luxury timepiece. The result is a particularly successful blend of historical charm and contemporary quality.
This piece has reference number IW325401 and is a cherished model within IWC's exclusive Vintage Collection. The collection was developed to bring back some of the most iconic historical designs of the brand without compromising on technology, reliability, and finishing.
The case measures 44mm in diameter and has a powerful, authentic appearance that is directly inspired by the original observation and pilot watches from the 1930s. The large Arabic numerals, classic cathedral hands, and clear dial ensure excellent readability, just as a true pilot’s watch is meant to be.
Inside, it houses the high-quality IWC Manufacture Calibre 98300, a manual winding movement based on the historical pocket watch movements of IWC. The large manufacture movement is beautifully finished and is known for its reliability, robust construction, and excellent accuracy. Thanks to the transparent back, the beautiful movement can be admired in full glory. This movement has recently been fully reviewed, cleaned, and adjusted, and the invoice for this intervention is included.
This watch comes on a brand new IWC brown croco leather strap (receipt included at €330-).
