Top vintage! This stylish and extremely rare Omega Constellation Automatic Chronometer watch from the late 1960s, circa 1969 to be precise. A model from Omega's exclusive Constellation line, it features the sought-after Omega Cal. 751 movement with 'Chronometer' certification. This was, and remains, a very high-quality automatic movement. Quite an achievement for its time (and still is). A beautiful vintage watch in excellent condition, rare because we cannot find this exact version on this beautiful Omega steel bracelet anywhere else in the world, creating a truly stunning ensemble. The Omega Constellation has been an icon in the watch world for decades, and this automatic chronometer model (ref. 168.041) from the late 1960s exudes pure class. With its elegant design, high-quality finish, and proven precision, this watch is a valuable addition to any collector or enthusiast of vintage timepieces. A vintage watch of high-quality Swiss craftsmanship, featuring an 18k white gold bezel and a beautiful gray dial. At the time, this was the equivalent of a Rolex Datejust. With a 36mm x 40mm case diameter, it's a nice men's size that's still very comfortable and not too small. There's some light patina, but everything is in good condition, and we don't often see them in better condition. This is an automatic chronometer version (also indicated on the dial), which is/was considerably more exclusive and expensive than the more common non-chronometer versions. This watch is equipped with an Omega chronometer-certified automatic movement cal. 751 with 24 jewels. The movement runs perfectly with chronometer accuracy. We measure a deviation of approximately 2 seconds per 24 hours. This movement has a day and date complication and operates in a unique way: the days are adjusted by pushing the crown in and out, and the days are adjusted by turning the time. The original Omega steel bracelet with reference number 1235/226 is just as rare and is in truly excellent (truly unique) condition, unstretched and with the original finish. We found this Omega bracelet model online for around €750, so it certainly represents a significant value. The bracelet fits wrists up to approximately 19cm and features an Omega folding clasp with fine adjustment. We can custom-make/deliver the bracelet.
