A stylish and striking (Japan/US) version of the Omega Speedmaster Date in the more luxurious "Chronometer" version. This sporty watch features a beautiful dial, lovely details, and a high-quality Chronometer-certified movement (which is clearly indicated on the dial). This is precisely where this watch distinguishes itself from regular Speedmaster Date models: the better/more expensive COSC Chronometer-certified movement. This watch is in excellent condition and comes with a beautiful full set. In our humble opinion, this is the "smart" Omega Speedmaster for modest wrists, everyday wear, greater comfort, and top quality. With a 40mm diameter and numerous attractive improvements (sapphire crystal, automatic COSC-certified movement, screw-down caseback, and fine-adjustment in the clasp), this is an excellent, or even better, alternative to, for example, the very popular Speedmaster Reduced or the Speedmaster Moonwatch Professional. The Speedmaster has a huge following among watch enthusiasts and collectors due to its historical significance, association with its bigger brother, the well-known Speedmaster Moonwatch, and its more accessible size. It offers a blend of sportiness, elegance, and functionality, making it suitable for both casual and formal occasions and virtually never out of place. Inside, we see the automatic Omega Cal. 1164 movement. A beautiful Chronometer movement is the cream of the crop in Swiss watchmaking. We measure an amplitude of over 292 degrees and a deviation of max. 2 seconds per 24 hours, which is truly excellent and meets the highest Chronometer standards. The original Omega steel bracelet is beautifully finished, brings the watch into perfect balance, and is also in very good condition. The bracelet fits wrists up to approximately 20 cm. We can, of course, make/supply the bracelet to size.
