The Omega Speedmaster HB-SIA Co-Axial GMT Chronograph is a particularly technical and striking version within the famous Speedmaster family. The watch was developed in honor of the Solar Impulse project, where the experimental HB-SIA aircraft flew entirely on solar energy. This innovative background fits perfectly with this Speedmaster, which combines high-quality materials with a GMT function and automatic chronograph.

This rare example in Europe is in very good condition and has reference number 321.90.44.52.01.001. With a 44mm diameter and fully made of high-quality Grade 2 titanium. Not only the case, but also the matching strap is made of titanium. This makes the watch surprisingly light and very comfortable to wear despite its generous size.

The carbon dial has a pronounced technical appearance and is combined with striking orange accents referring to the Solar Impulse project. The various chronograph registers, date display, and additional GMT indication provide much functionality while unmistakably maintaining the appearance of a Speedmaster.

An important feature of this edition is the GMT function, which allows reading a second time zone alongside the local time. Combined with the automatic chronograph, this makes the HB-SIA a particularly complete mechanical watch and an interesting Speedmaster for the enthusiast looking for something different from the classic Moonwatch.

Inside is the high-quality Omega Co-Axial Calibre 3603. This automatic chronograph movement combines Omega's Co-Axial technology with a chronograph and GMT complication. The Co-Axial construction was developed to reduce friction in the escapement and is one of the most important technical developments within modern mechanical watches from Omega. The movement is fully checked and tested and runs extremely accurately.

This watch comes on the original Grade 2 titanium Omega Speedmaster bracelet with all links for wrists up to approximately 18.5cm (additional links can be ordered for an extra cost and with additional delivery time).
