This Omega Speedmaster Mark II from circa 1970 is utterly vintage! A beautiful example with the original dial and hands, a lovely patina, a 42mm cushion case, and a typical vintage 70s vibe. This watch is in vintage condition and completely original. This is vintage with character, patina, and signs of wear, not surprising after some 55 years. The Omega Speedmaster Mark II is a legendary chronograph watch that holds an important place in Omega's watchmaking history. Designed as a racing watch, the Mark II features a streamlined case and a tachymeter scale on the bezel. This was such an important model for Omega that a heritage (remake) of this original model was even released in 2015. The Speedmaster Mark II's signature feature is the tonneau-shaped case, which gives it a sleek and sporty look. The case dimensions are slightly larger than those of the Speedmaster Moonwatch, with a diameter of 42.4mm. The Speedmaster Mark II is powered by Omega's renowned caliber 861, a legendary mechanical movement. The movement also features a chronograph function. It runs smoothly and accurately, with a measured amplitude of approximately 270 degrees and a deviation of 5 seconds per 24 hours. The original Omega ref. 1159 steel bracelet is in good condition and fits wrists of up to approximately 20 cm when all links are used (two separate links are included). The bracelet is otherwise very wearable and certainly reflects its 55 years of service. This vintage watch comes with an original, vintage Omega box and an in-house warranty report with a 1-year warranty.
