The Omega Speedmaster Racing Mark II 145.014 is a remarkable chapter in the history of Omega's famous Speedmaster collection. This model was introduced in the 1970s as a more modern interpretation of the classic Moonwatch and is known for its tonneau-shaped case and sporty appearance.

This specific piece features the beloved 'Racing Dial', recognizable by the colorful minute track and contrasting details inspired by motorsport. This version was produced for only a few years, making it relatively rare today, especially when the watch is complete with its original accessories (papers from 1976!).

The case measures 42mm and fits characteristically and sturdily on the wrist due to its integrated design. Appropriate for a watch almost 50 years old, this piece is in good vintage condition. Light scratches are visible on the glass and the steel bracelet shows slight stretch, features consistent with an authentically worn vintage watch. The steel Omega bracelet with Ref. 1159 fits wrists up to approximately 19cm.

Inside, the legendary Omega Caliber 861 powers this watch, a reliable and robust manual winding chronograph movement that received a new full service (Omega Certified) in 2026. Therefore, the movement is technically in excellent condition.

N.B. During the service, the central second hand was replaced, and the original is included.
