Juweelwinkel (hereinafter: "Juweelwinkel") cares deeply about your privacy. Therefore, we only process data that we need for (improving) our servicesand handle the information we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. Webshop software – Afosto

Our webshop was developed with software from Afosto. Personal data that you provide to usfor the purpose of our services will be shared with this party. Afosto has access to your data to provide us with (technical) support; they will never use your data for any other purpose. Afosto is obligatedbased on the agreement we have with them to take appropriatesecurity measures. These security measures consist of the applicationof SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Afosto uses cookiesto collect technical information regarding your use of the software;no personal data is collected and/or stored. Afosto reservesthe right to share collected data within its own group to further improveservices. Web hosting – TransIPWe purchase web hosting and email services from TransIP. TransIP processes personal dataon our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. This party may, however,collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. TransIP has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss andunauthorized use of your personal data. TransIP is obligated to maintain confidentiality under theagreement. Email and mailing lists – MailChimp We send our email newsletters with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name andemail address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automaticallyvia our website, you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data is stored securely by MailChimp.MailChimp uses cookies and other internet technologies that provide insightinto whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use yourdata to further improve its services and, in that context, to share information with third parties. Email – TransIPWe use the services of TransIP for our regular business email traffic.This party has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent misuse,loss, and corruption of your and our data as much as possible. TransIP does not have access to our mailbox, and we treat all our email traffic confidentially. Payment processors – MollieWe use the Mollie platform to process (some of) the payments in our online store. Mollie processes your name, address, and city of residence, andyour payment details such as your bank account number. Mollie has taken appropriate technical andorganizational measures to protect your personal data. Molliereserves the right to use your data to furtherimprove its services and, in that context, to share (anonymized) data with third parties. All the above-mentioned guarantees regarding the protection of yourpersonal data also apply to the parts of Mollie's servicesfor which they engage third parties. Mollie does not retain your data longer than permitted by law. Reviews – WebwinkelKeur We collect reviews via the WebwinkelKeur platform. If you leave a review viaWebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide your name and email address. WebwinkelKeurshares this information with us so we can link the review to your order. Shipping and logistics – PostNL

If you place an order with us, it is our responsibility to have your package delivered to you.We use the services of PostNL to carry out deliveries. It isnecessary for us to share your name, address, and city details with PostNL. PostNL uses this information solely for the purpose of executing the agreement.If PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your information available to these parties.

External sales channels – Bol.com

We sell (some of) our products through the Bol.com platform. If you place an order through this platform, Bol.com will share your order and personal data with us.We use this information to process your order. We treatyour data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organizational measuresto protect your data against loss and unauthorized use.

External sales channels – Marktplaats.nl

We also sell (some of) our products through the Marktplaats.nl platform. If youplace an order through this platform, Marktplaats.nl will share your order andpersonal data with us. We use this information to process your order. We handle your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical andorganizational measures to protect your data against loss andunauthorized use.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of processing

We use your data solely for the purposes of providing our services. This meansthat the purpose of processing is always directly related to the order youprovide. We do not use your data for (targeted) marketing. If you share data withus and we use this data to contact you at a latertime – other than at your request – we will ask your explicit permission to do so.

Your data will not be shared with third parties, except to comply with accounting andother administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound toconfidentiality based on the agreement between them and us, an oath, ora legal obligation.

Automatically collected data

Data automatically collected by our website is processed for the purpose offurther improving our services. This data (for example, your IP address,web browser, and operating system) is not personal data.

Cooperation with tax and criminal investigations

In certain cases, Juweelwinkel may be required by law toshare your data in connection with tax or criminal investigationsby government authorities. In such a case, we are forced to share your data, butwe will object to this within the limits of the law.

Retention periods

We retain your data for as long as you are our client. This means that we retain yourclient profile until you indicate that you no longer wish to use our services. If you indicate this to us, we will also consider this as a request to be forgotten.

Due to applicable administrative obligations, we are required to retain invoices containing your(personal) data; we will therefore retain this data for the duration of the applicableterm. However, employees no longer have access to your client profileand documents we have produced in connection with your assignment.

Your Rights

Under applicable Dutch and European law, you, as a data subject, have certainrights with regard to the personal data processed by or on behalf of us.We explain below what these rights are and how you can invoke them.

In principle, to prevent misuse, we only send transcripts and copies of your datato the email address you already have on file with us. You will receive all transcripts and copiesof data in the machine-readable data format we use within our systems. You can submit a request to that effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You will then receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we will send you confirmation to the email address we have on file that the data has been corrected.Right to Restrict ProcessingYou always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relates toyour person or can be traced back to you, corrected. If your request is granted, we will send you confirmation to the email address we have on file that the data will no longerbe processed until you lift the restriction. Right to data portabilityYou always have the right to have the data we process (or have processed) that relates toyour person or is identifiable to you, processed by another party. You cansubmit a request to this effect to our contact person for privacy matters. You willthen receive a response to your request within 30 days. If your request is granted, we willsend you copies of all data about you that we have processed or that has been processed on our behalf by other processors or third parties, to the email address we have on file for you. In all likelihood, in such a case, we will no longer be able to continue providing services, because the secure linking of data files can no longer beguaranteed.

Right to object and other rights
