The Rolex Cosmograph Daytona has been one of the most sought-after chronographs in the world for decades. This example has reference number 116523 and features the characteristic combination of 18-carat yellow gold and steel. This so-called 'Rolesor' version offers the best of both worlds: the luxurious look of solid gold combined with the durability of steel. The gold bezel, crown, pushers, and center links give the watch a warm and exclusive appearance, while the steel case and bracelet provide a sporty character. The black dial is one of the most popular versions.

A particularly attractive detail is that the watch has remained completely unpolished. This has beautifully preserved the original case shapes, sharp facets, and authentic finishing, something that is increasingly appreciated. We do see some regular signs of wear, but rest assured that the condition is very good yet definitely worn.

Inside is the legendary Rolex Calibre 4130 automatic manufacture movement. This fully in-house developed chronograph movement is renowned worldwide for its reliability, efficiency, and exceptional precision. Thanks to its thoughtful construction, the Calibre 4130 is known as one of the best automatic chronograph movements ever built.

The movement has been fully tested, runs excellently, and keeps time accurately.

The Rolex gold/steel Oyster bracelet fits wrists up to approximately 18.5cm and features the handy 'easylink' quick adjustment. The bracelet shows little to no stretch and is also in very good condition.
