The Rolex Oyster Precision (Ref. 2765) is an exceptionally rare and historically significant watch from Rolex's early 1940s. This model, also known as the 'Flat-Back', dates back to around 1940 and represents the pure essence of classic watchmaking. 32mm, small-seconds, and a nice patina on the dial. Incredible, especially after over 85 years!

Characteristic of this model is the elegant ‘small seconds’ at 6 o'clock, a style typical for watches from this period. The case is completely unpolished and left in its original state, which contributes to its authenticity and collectability. The dial has some patina, and the plexiglass has craquelé. However, nothing that shouldn't be there after all these years.

Inside is a remarkably high-quality and rare Rolex manufacture manual winding movement, featuring 18 jewels and 'Adjusted in 8 positions'. This level of adjustment was exceptional at the time and highlights the technical craftsmanship Rolex was early known for. The movement runs excellently and is truly very accurate, almost unbelievable.

The watch is in good vintage condition, fitting for its age of over 85 years, and carries a beautiful history with it.

The watch comes with a matching leather strap and is also delivered with an additional new suede strap, allowing for easy style changes. Suitable for wrists up to approximately 19cm.
