A gold Victorian brooch/pendant set with a large triplet opal and a ring of freshwater pearls. The pearls have a lavender glow, which complements the large opal beautifully. Triplet means that only the middle layer of the stone is genuine opal. The underside is (usually) made of onyx, and the top is covered with a layer of rock crystal for protection. Opal is a delicate stone; this way, it is well-protected and more affordable. This piece of jewelry is a special piece, from the Victorian era, and in excellent condition. The pendant/brooch is crafted from 14-karat yellow gold (585/1000).
